About FluidCell.eu

An independent view of the technology

What FluidCell.eu publishes, how it uses sources, and how the current publication differs from the former European FluidCELL project.

FluidCell.eu is an independent technical publication about hydrogen, fuel cells and membrane reactors. It explains the chemistry and engineering behind production, separation and electrochemical power for readers who need more than a technology headline.

What the publication covers

The initial reading library focuses on membrane-reactor principles, bioethanol reforming, hydrogen purification, PEM fuel cells and local hydrogen supply. Articles connect reaction chemistry to process conditions and explain how a component result differs from complete-system performance.

The intended readers include students, engineers, researchers and technically curious people. Definitions are explained in context and in a technical glossary. Equations and comparisons are included when they help answer a specific question.

The domain and the former project

The domain was historically used by the European FluidCELL research project. That project investigated bioethanol membrane reforming and fuel-cell micro-CHP and is now closed.

This website is not operated by, affiliated with, or the successor to the former FluidCELL consortium or the European Commission. The current publication began in 2026. It does not claim the former project's research, funding or partnerships as its own.

The historical project overview documents the public record. Selected original URLs, including the workshops page, are preserved to help readers arriving from legitimate older citations. These pages are newly written historical accounts, not reproductions of the former website.

Editorial

Articles are attributed to FluidCell.eu Editorial. This is a publication-level attribution, not a claim that a named scientist reviewed the content. No scientific credentials or independent peer review are claimed.

Sources include research papers, institutional repositories, CORDIS, public energy-agency material and standards records. The relevant source must support the claim being made. Project ambitions, modelled results and measured outcomes are distinguished.

The publication writes explanations in its own words, cites evidence and identifies illustrative calculations. It links to original documents instead of presenting other institutions' research as its own.

Corrections and updates

Readers can send a correction or source suggestion. Include the page, the disputed statement and supporting evidence where possible. Substantive changes should be reflected in the article's update information; dates are not refreshed simply to make a page appear new.

The editorial and corrections policy describes the publication's sourcing and attribution practices. Image credits identify the original diagrams and their reuse licence.
